What a great pancake supper... thank you all for all your hard work!
We had a great week last week talking about food and nutrition (thanks to Julie and Christy for helping out!), playing in our grocery store, and of course our field trip! Parent/teacher conferences went well, too. If you missed yours last week, talk to me this week about scheduling a make-up time.
This week we will be talking about families, homes, fall, and of course Thanksgiving! We will keep our grocery store open as well so that the kiddos have the opportunity to play out what we saw on Friday. Monday and Tuesday (weather permitting) we will be exploring our backyard with a scavenger hunt and will talk about the changes that have occurred in our trees since school began. I encourage you to do the same in your own backyards or at your local park. Consider making a collage or some other display of your collected items to share with us for show and tell! We will have show and tell both Thursday and Friday this week. I would also like for everyone to bring in a family photo to be posted in the classroom. Bring this in any day this week.
